I was there too. I never miss out on a chance to see David play, especially here in London. Rudy, that "Drums In The Bush Event" was one of the reasons I started playing drums! Wicked to know there was someone else there!!! I saw TOP a little while ago too. I thinkthe guy you was refering to is Russ McKinnon. Either that or it was Herman Matthews. Both are awesome, but Garibaldi just fits that band like a glove...

Make that three of us going to Gary's gig. The new DVD with him and Mark in is just off the hook...Nuts....

Heh, that's really awesome we were both there groovemeister. Garibaldi came out front after he played to answer questions. I asked him something really dumb, I think it was 'how tight do you tension your snares' to which he replied 'medium', and said nothing else. Lol, I wished I hadn't asked, he didn't seem too chatty and because he's such a hero of mine, I didn't really know what else to say to him, I felt a bit shy.

No, it wasn't either of those drummers with tower of power when I saw them, I just remembered who it was. Mick Mestik was the name or similar spelling. Great player. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's Garibaldi's mixture of linear & non-linear grooves, his pocket, musicality in accompaniment, & downright "funky-jazz-ocity" [or make that, "jazzy-funkocity" [img]wink.gif[/img] ] that makes him the spectacular player for me [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] ...
I have to agree w groovem... Russ McKinnon & Herman Matthews r decent players [havent heard 'Mestik' - it wasnt Mikel Masters, was it?!]], but DG is the man 4 this band [img]cool.gif[/img]

So that Husband vid is killer, huh? No surprise there, with that line-up of players.
